The California Latino Capitol Association Foundation (CLCAF) is a Sacramento-based professional organization. Established in 1975, over the years, CLCAF has continually brought California’s legislative staff, legislative advocates, the Sacramento community, and other professionals around the state together to promote the professional development of its members and serve the community.
2011 was a landmark year for the community when CLCAF's 501(c)(3) status was approved. This year we have expanded our successful Summer Internship Program for high school students, our Policy Bootcamp for at-risk youth, and created a new Latina's in Politics Mentorship Program for members of the capitol community to foster relationships with Latina legislators.
Although our focus is primarily to promote the personal and professional development of Latinos in, around, and beyond the Capitol, we are not Latino exclusive. We welcome all individuals to become members of CLCAF.
