CALIFORNIA LATINO CAPITOL ASSOCIATION FOUNDATION
Some of what we do
Mixers: The first Thursday of every month, CLCA hosts a networking event to provide members and friends a space to socialize outside of the work environment.
Brown Bag Luncheons: The luncheons provide Member’s of the Legislature an informal setting where they can share their insight of various policies, experiences leading up to their post as Legislators, and future aspirations, among other topics.
Summer Intern Program & Scholarship: A month-long internship for California high school students to learn about the legislative process through placements with Legislators or third house advocates. Students receive a scholarship to assist with their college expenses.
Policy Briefings: Briefings provide members and staff a better understanding of working in and around the Capitol. Various professionals share their perspective on policy topics, advise on best staffing practices, and make sense of significant state issues.
End of Session Bash: The Bash provides legislative staff, advocates, and the surrounding Sacramento community with a venue to unwind during the hectic End of Session schedule in the State Legislature.
Lobbyist/Advocate Mixer: This event is a reception to honor and thank third house advocates who support CLCA and CLCAF through their sponsorship and guidance.
Golf 101 & Family BBQ: This is a scholarship fundraiser where you can learn to golf from a special guest, play a round, and enjoy a family friendly BBQ.
